Membership

The Chatham Chorale is a Cape-wide auditioned community chorus of approximately 80 members, performing a wide range of musical genres in venues throughout Cape Cod. Our regular concert schedule typically includes performances in November, December, March and April of each year. In recent years, we have in addition served as the featured chorus for the Cape Symphony’s Holiday on the Cape program. The Chorale also includes a group of approximately 30 singers, the Chamber Singers, dedicated to performing music that is written for smaller groups. One of our four regular concerts may be a Chamber Singers concert.

Members are encouraged to sing in all concerts, but we recognize that you may have other commitments and therefore do allow members to choose to sing only in certain concerts. For most concerts, we have multiple performances. You are expected to participate in all performances for those of our regular concerts in which you do sing.

Rehearsals are held on Monday and Thursday evenings at the Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School in Harwich, MA. Members are expected to attend all rehearsals for the concerts in which they plan to sing. Attendance at dress rehearsals, which are in the week prior to each concert, is mandatory.
